RODEO AS MY FIRST LOVE

Exaggerating it may be when I say that Rodeo is my first love. Well it started when I was yet a student enrolled in Bachelor in Agricultural Technology. I used play rodeo locally and even in the Rodeo Masbateno, a national rodeo competition in Masbate. Fortunately, I gained some medals and trophies.

May I share with you then my younger days in Rodeo. This is when I was still fit to play a four-man carambola which I missed by now because of my dislodged knee due to an accident. How I loved Rodeo so much and I am only up to recalling my heydays in rodeo.

I think I was but 18 years old in this photo, very strong then though I was thin. The game is very dangerous since you have to compete with an animal, a bull to be specific, but nothing can hold be to play rodeo,only if my physical condition by now will permit.

Today, I am only up to witnessing the new generations of players, students who have the agility to play rodeo. See in this photo the joys they have while playing.

That's a cowboys life, fearsome but very satisfying.
