A shorter run made by someone with ankle problems
We don't normally do runs that are less than 5km but we were extremely gracious that one of our members who is currently injured a bit and has a bit of a tough time walking, surprised us all by setting a trail. Let's just say that nobody was allowed to complain because none of us would have done that.

Our runs are normally around 6 or 7 km and take a lot more turns than this. They also will normally have a few false trails in them and some confusing bits. This run didn't have any of that but no one was going to say anything untowards about it because of the circumstances involved with its creation. To get out there with a recently recovered twisted ankle and scout all this and mark the trail for us is something that wont soon be forgotten.

This is the altitude of all up then all down is also noteworthy. A change in a total of 100 meters isn't exactly legendary, but again, how many of the rest of us have not just walked something like this, but explored it and marked it for other people to run while injured.

once again, despite the fact that we are in the typically rainy time of year we got lucky and avoided all of that yet again. This is a long streak we are on right now as far as not having to deal with torrential rainfall is concerned. Count your blessings!
If you weren't there I won't tell you who it was because it is a secret but here is a clue that he has approved

If you aren't a member or don't go running with us there is no way that this image is going to mean anything to you but if you are ever here with us all you have to do is learn some of the Hash names and I think who we are referring to will become quickly evident.
This is the time of year here in Chiang Mai where a lot of people have to go back to their home countries for some stupid reason so our attendance and participation has been down a bit as of late. But no worries because we have still been able to arrange at least 3 runs per week and anyone out there that is going to be in the Chiang Mai area and wants to join us we do Monday runs (men only) and Thursday and Saturday runs that are coed.
