Today, I will participate in the Steemit challenge session 24, where I will mentor @rmm31's Broiler Project Week 04 challenge. This week's challenge is Steemit Challenge S24| Broiler Projec W4. I hope everyone will like my writing about the Broiler Project.

1 Realizar el cambio de alimento, mostrar con fotografías o videos el momento en que se agrega la primera porción de alimento en la mañana y luego una fotografía en horas de medio día para determinar sí consumieron el alimento o no. I feed the chickens new food every day at 9:00 a.m. Today, I fed my chickens vitamin-rich large-sized food as recommended by the mentor. I crushed the food into a small amount with a hammer. My chickens are three weeks old. I was careful while feeding the chickens large-sized granular food because the chickens may eat less of the new food. Today, I will observe the amount of food the chickens eat throughout the day.

While processing the morning chicken feed

The chickens are already eating less food, so I go to the shopping mall in our country's capital, Dhaka and sell broiler chicken feed. I buy the best and vitamin-rich chicken feed. However, my chickens are not ideal broiler chickens. The chicken seller has cheated me. However, I have learned that it is important to choose the brand of chickens first for raising broiler chickens. Then, inspired by my mentor's advice, I bought chicken vitamins and vitamin-rich food. Hopefully, my chickens will gain weight.

I purchased two items of vitamin-rich food.

The chicks are having trouble eating the larger portion of the food, but I have noticed that they are eating the crushed food. So, I later crushed the food into a small amount with a hammer. My chicks are three weeks old, so I give them a bowl of small and large grain food. I will gradually introduce the chicks to larger-sized food from the fourth week of age.

My chickens sleep at night. However, they sometimes eat when they are hungry. They wake up especially when they see the light. Since I read your lesson in week 04, I have turned off the lights at night and kept the chickens in the dark. At first, the chickens screamed. Later, when they grew a little, they slept at night.

Since the third week, the chicks have been accustomed to being in the dark at night. The two chicks wake up as soon as the light is turned on. To keep the chicks healthy, it is necessary to keep them in the dark at night so that they can digest their food.

Today, I am cleaning the brood litter of my chickens. I raise two chickens in a box. I put heavy paper at the bottom of the box because I can easily clean the chicken droppings. I clean the paper at the bottom of the chicken box every day. While I was cleaning the chicken coop, I noticed a strange smell. The scent increased as the chickens grew older. Today, I cleaned the chicken coop with a vacuum cleaner. That's why the chicken coop looks dirtier.

Then, I put new, clean paper in the chicken coop. I put wood powder on the paper so that the chicken droppings absorb the wood powder, reducing the dirt. Because of the wood powder, I find it easier to clean the chicken coop. I keep the chickens in two coops, so I follow the above procedure. If I could have raised them by brooding them on the ground, I could have used disinfectants.

I see the chicks spreading their wings in the heat. Sometimes they keep their beaks open in the heat. Then I do the following things.

I change the chicks' water frequently.
I ensure enough air enters and leaves the chicks' cage.
I set up a fan above the chicken cage at a certain distance. I ensure the amount of air is so that the chicks don't get cold.

I have purchased vitamin-rich food for the chickens as per your advice. This week, Chicken-01's weight has increased by 205 grams, and Chicken-02's weight has increased by 194 grams. My two chickens are three weeks old. The fourth week of their age will start tomorrow.

I am lucky because I have only two chicks and have experimentally understood the weaknesses of my chicken farming. If I had raised many chicks and lost weight like this, I would have suffered financially a lot. I will select broiler chicks correctly in the future. I will focus on feeding the chicks next week. However, my chicks are still healthy.

I have grown very fond of the baby chickens while raising broiler chickens. I can see my two broiler chickens are much bigger now. Today, I let the two baby chickens out on the table. I would let the two baby chickens out on the ground if I were in my village house. The two baby chickens recognise me. I feed and look after the two baby chickens daily, so they try to jump into my hand when they see me.

This afternoon I let the two baby chickens out of the box and let them roam around.

I try to feed my two baby chickens in different ways. I have purchased three items of food. I change the water for the baby chickens every morning and afternoon. It is extremely hot in our country, so I mix glucose with water. I have purchased four types of vitamins, which I mix with the water of the baby chickens as per the rules. I am very happy raising broiler chickens. My childhood hobby of raising chickens is being fulfilled through the Steemit challenge.
