RE: Best Practices to Deter a Thief
Being successful on Steemit is a long run. My advises are:
- do not compare your result with others
- forget payout/time ROI at the beginning
- find a niche with subjects you like
- develop you network. Interact with others. Comments are sometimes better rewarded than posts.
- stay committed
Good luck!
And do you have any thoughts on voting groups? I have avoided them since I joined, over 1.5 years ago, because I am doubtful of them, but it seems that some of the top-paid authors use them.
After submitting hundreds of articles, many of which took many hours to write, and seeing not only an hourly salary that is pathetic, but a per-article salary that averages less than $.10 article.
I will try to do as you suggest. Hopefully I'll succeed. Thank you!
