Hi guys welcome to my blog today.

I'm so so excited to take part in this week salad challenge contest. From the ingredients you can tell that this is a healthy salad that one need to consume.

So after going through the outline I write down the ingredients when to market and bought them, coming back I prepare the salad with the ingredient I bought from the market.

To begin, leta see the ingredients I bought and the steps I took in preparing it.

Ingredients

  • Tomato
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Green leaf
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Cucumber
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Dried red pepper

To begin, I washed all my veggies ingredients with clean water and set it aside for the salad.

Wash thouroughly and cut tomatoes in a rondelle shape as seen in this picture.

In a clean plate I arranged my salad in it, decorate it as I'm putting it to the plate for good looking presentation.

I started with tomato, cheese then the leaf, I continued this pattern till done.

Then I added cucumber as decorations. I cut the cucumber as love shape then it added some beautiful decoration to my salad.

I sprinkled pepper on it

I sprinkled olive oil and balsamic vinegar then it was ready.

My experience well preparing it, very easy to prepare, the only thing that make me really nervous while preparing was how the taste will be like. I've not use some of this ingredient before so I was really concerned about the taste, but it wasn't bad though it wasn't what I expected. I shared it with my family members and they like it so much.

Have you tried a Caprese salad before? Tell us about the flavor of your salad? Did it meet your expectations?

I've not tried it before, this was my first time, the flavour was nice. Although it didn't meet my expectations but it made me have experience on this.

The cheese I used helps me eat the salad comfortably with a nice taste.

I don't really have extra tips but the only tips I have is;

  • While preparing salad always go for the best veggies vegetables that are fresh, your tomato should be fresh.
  • Your basil should also be fresh

  • It should be thoroughly wash either with vinegar or with salt.

  • Presentation should be very neat and catchy.
