How are you. I hope you people of steemian are good and enjoy your life . Well I am well. May God bless you all. Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S25- W4: which is all time my favourite topic "Chickpea Salad". this amazing challenge organised by @dasudi . So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

Chickpea salad is very nutritious and tastes great too. My children and my husband love this salad. We like to eat it with tea in the evening snack. It is an excellent option for mild hunger.
Step 1
To make "Chickpea Salad", first of all I soaked the chickpeas for at least three to four hours. Because when chickpeas are well soaked, they do not take much time to boil and then I boiled the chickpeas by adding a little salt and a pinch of baking soda. I boiled it in a cooker. Let it boil for at least 6 to 7 whistles and turned off the gas.

Then I washed and kept all the vegetables needed to use in the salad in a vessel like tomatoes

cucumber
green chillies
lemon
coriander leaves for decoration

red chillies
chaat masala
Step 3
I chopped tomatoes, onions, green chillies and cucumber finely so that it mixes well and when it is eaten, the taste of chickpeas is also felt fully. Because if we keep the size of chickpeas equal and cut them into big pieces If you cut them, the taste of the chickpeas will be suppressed. That's why I cut them into smaller pieces than the chickpeas.

Then after some time when the whistle opened, I took out the chickpeas in a clean vessel.

Then I added tomatoes, onions, cucumbers to the chickpeas and then added salt, pepper, chat masala and mixed it well. Then I added one and a half teaspoons of lemon juice and our chickpea salad was ready.
Step 6
When our chickpea salad was ready, I served it in a bowl and kept coriander leaves for decoration. In this way, a full nutritious meal is ready.

Yes, I have eaten chickpea salad before. Whenever I make chickpeas, I boil it in large quantity, so that I can give it to my family in the evening for breakfast. Its taste becomes very sour and spicy by adding lemon juice. It is wonderful in taste, because by adding vegetables like cucumber and tomato in it, it becomes even more nutritious. . This chickpea salad completely meets my expectations because every housewife wants to feed her family nutritious food. My children go to coaching, so if they do not want to eat anything else, then even if they eat a bowl of this, I feel relieved thinking that the children have eaten something heavy.
