Today I am going to participate in the SLC contest which is organised by Dear @dasudi and @livric, and the contest title is SLC25-W4 // "Chickpea Salad. Here in this contest I have to make a fresh Chickpea salad at home by my self, I have never made such thing before so it would be very challenging for me.So without wasting any time, let's get into it.

- First I have to buy all the vegetables which are being used in making the Chickpea salad.So for this I go to market and their I bought all the ingredients.Then I washed the vegetables, like cucumber, onion and tomato etc.Actually I washed it very tightly because the marketer sprays a lot of different sprays in this kind of stuff, so for that I washed it very carefully.Below I have mentioned the ingredients and the quantities which are going to used in the Chickpea Salad.

Tomato | Half Cup |
Vinegar | 1 Table spoon |
Salt | Half Tea Spoon |
Bell pepper | 1/4th Cup |
Black pepper | 1/4th Tea Spoon |
Oil | 2 Table Spoon |

- In the next step I have chopped Tomato, onion, cucumber, and Bell paper into small pieces.Also I have carefully cut it into similar small pieces.I have chopped it together in one tray so that I can use it easily, also I have washed fresh parsley and then put some leaves of parsley here.

- Here in the third step I have boiled one of the most main ingredient of the recipe which is Chickpeas.After boiling I soked the water and then I transfer about 200 Grams of Chickpeas to separate container carefully.

- In the fourth step, I start adding all the chopped vegetables, such as cucumber, Tomato, onion, bell pepper, and parsley, to the Chickpeas container.

- In the fifth step, I have added salt to the entire mixture of Chickpeas and chopped vegetables. After adding the salt, I then added black pepper to this mixture to suit my taste.

- Here in the sixth step, I added vinegar to the mixture. And after adding I,t I then added about 2 spoons of oil, which will give a good texture to my mixture.

- In this last step, I mix all the ingredients well.After mixing it for a while our mixture is ready.And Now I have to put it in the freezer for some time, so that it will give a cool effect.

*** No, I haven't tried it before. This was my first chance, and it fascinated me a lot on the first try. All the ingredients were very colourful. Its nutritional value was also very good and high. I will highly recommend this Chickpea salad to all of you. As soon as we have it, it boosts our energy. My mother also tasted this yummy salad and appreciated it a lot. In itself, this salad is a full-fledged meal, particularly for those persons who are striving to reduce their weight.

- Chickpeas are the storehouse of Proteins and fibers, which are very beneficial for our body. Chickpeas also provide a lot of energy, and they also lower the risk of cancer. Chickpeas also improve the health of heart. Cucumber is one of my favourites as it has a lot of benefits, like helping to keep our body hydrated. Also, those who want to lose weight then eat cucumber, which is very good for them, as it will help them lose body fat. Now, if I talk about bell pepper, then first of all, its taste is super, and also one of the greatest things which I would like to tell you all is that the smell of Bell pepper helps in preventing us from a lot of diseases. Onions help in reducing the swelling, and also the bad bacteria which is in our body are successfully removed with the help of onions.

- Well if it comes to tips then I can say that before chopping wash all the ingredients carefully as it is very necessary.And when it comes to chopping then be sure to chop all of it in similar sizes so that you can enjoy it while eating it.Also when the whole ChickPea salad is ready to eat then be sure to put it in freezer for some time so that it will give a refreshing and cool effect.Also if you like spicy things then you can add species like Chat masala for spicy touch and also don't forget to add lemon if you like species.
