SLC25-W6 // "Fruit Salad"
We've come to an end of season 25 and it has been a long journey of acquiring great knowledge in Salad class through Steemit Learning Challenge. For this week, I've learned about fruit salad, its ingredients and dressing.
I will proceed by showing the practical part of what I've learnt;

I started by washing my fruits properly with a little salt and making sure it is sand free. I sliced each of them to my desired size and shape.
In a bowl, I placed the fruits and nut in layers; I started with orange, apple, watermelon, cucumber followed by coconut.
I repeated the same process by layering the fruits and nut in the bowl starting with orange to nut.
After arranging fruits and nut in a bowl
I kept it aside and then began mixing the dressing; the cream was already in a bowl so I proceeded by adding milk then mix thoroughly to have smooth texture and thickness.
I added sufficient quantity of the dressing to my fruit salad and then served it cold.
Question 2: What was your favorite fruit you included in the salad? Did you like the resulting flavor combination? What health benefits do you think your fruit salad provides?
I am lover of fruits but there is always the best/ most preferred out of many. Watermelon and apple are my favorites, this salad would have been incomplete without these two fruits.
Honestly, I really enjoyed the fruit salad, the combination was great although, orange flavor gave me a bit of weird taste ( it's my first time of adding orange, I usually use pineapple).
Adding coconut to my fruit salad was another way of giving it unique and sweet taste. What is fruit salad without nut?!

The type of fruits used in making this will definitely determine how healthy it will be which is why it is advisable to use fruits with healthy content.

Yes, all the ingredients used for this fruit salad are available in my area and it is very easy to access them. All these ingredients can be purchased at the market, supermarket or by the roadside from fruit sellers.
