The divine Will?
"That servant who, knowing the will of his lord, did not prepare himself or do according to his will, will receive many lashes. But he who did not know did things worthy of scourging, he will be beaten a little; because to everyone to whom much has been given, much will be demanded of him; and to whom much has been entrusted, more will be asked "Luke 12: 47-48.

Hello Steemians, blessed day, I greet you @genesis2000. I just want to remind you that each blog is a challenge for you and me, even if it does not seem like it; because the purpose of this is that we can learn together and improve each day.
Living according to His revealed will must be the main purpose or purpose of our lives since we are called to:
"That you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your rational worship. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. "Romans 12: 1-2
And to know the will of God, we must immerse ourselves in the Word of God, saturate our minds with it, praying that the Holy Spirit will transform us through the renewing of our minds, so that the result will be the will of God. .
Let's read the word of God in Romans 12: 1-8
"So, brothers, I beg you for the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your rational worship. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your understanding, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
I say, then, by the grace that is given to me, to each one that is among you, that he has no higher self-concept than he should have, but that he thinks of himself with sanity, according to the measure of faith that God distributed to each one.
For as in one body we have many members, but not all members have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and all members of one another.
So, having different gifts, according to the grace that is given to us, if the prophecy, use according to the measure of faith; or if of service, in serving; or the one who teaches, in the teaching; he who exhorts, in the exhortation; the one who distributes, with liberality; the one who presides, with request; he who shows mercy, with joy. "
In that search for God's will, where "I do not seek to do my will, but the will of the one who sent me" John 5:30, we must know that not everything we like, or does not feel good, is the best for we, not everything that we dislike, or makes us feel bad, is bad for our lives, because just as many do not like vegetables, but do good to the body, and many like sweets and fried foods that hurt the body, not always what is known, or feels pleasant is the best thing for our life, or what does not feel so pleasant is always bad for our lives, because "everything is lawful, but not everything is convenient; everything is lawful for me, but not everything builds "1 Corinthians 10:23.
That is why we must search and analyze our lives to see if we are doing what God likes, that is his perfect will, or what we like and we take as his will, because when we decide to come to God's way we must live the life that God wants us to live and not the one we would like to live, since we must follow the father's will and not ours, that's why Paul says:
"I no longer live, but Christ lives in me" Galatians 2:20
And if Christ lives in me I must live like Christ and in what Christ likes.
So, brothers, let us analyze our lives and ask ourselves: Am I doing God's will? It is in you and me doing the will of the Father and not our own.
Let us review our lives and seek the will of God to begin to live the life that God desires for us and to walk the path that leads us to eternal life, even if the way of the Lord is not the most pleasant and the most comfortable, because we can not love God and sin at the same time:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23
Nor does "neither can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will esteem the one and despise the other "Matthew 6:24.
When speaking of God's will, we could consider different aspects
The first is the sovereign or hidden will of God, where there must be our recognition of the sovereignty of God, because it is where he sovereignly orders everything that happens as we were:
"Predestined according to the purpose of him who does all things according to the design of his will" Ephesians 1:11
In other words, nothing happens outside of their control, which does not imply that God causes everything that happens but allows what happens to happen.
While it is true that the sovereign will of God is hidden from us until after it happens, there is another aspect of His will that is clear, and it is His revealed will.
It is the will declared by God about what we should, or should not do, and manifests both in his Word and in our conscience, and in this recognizes that while we have the ability to disobey, we have no right to do so, so that there is no excuse for our sins, nor to affirm that we are fulfilling the sovereign will of God.
But the aspect that does not matter most today is what we see in the Bible as the perfect will of God, since it is God's plan for us and defines what is pleasing to God, which, for example, is revealed in the many verses that indicate what pleases God or not, so we see that God:
"He wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2: 4, although we know that the sovereign will of God is that "no one can come to me, if the Father who sent me does not bring him; and I will raise him up at the last day "John 6:44.
So we must be careful not to become obsessed with finding the will of God for our lives if the will we are seeking is His sovereign will, what we should try to know is the revealed will of God to live according to the will of God and that It can be summarized as:
"Be holy, because I am holy. And if you invoke as Father the one who, without regard for persons, judges according to the work of each one, lead you in fear all the time of your pilgrimage; knowing that you were rescued from your vain way of life, which you received from your fathers, not with corruptible things, like gold or silver, but with the precious blood of Christ "1 Peter 1: 16-19.

God's plan is for man to live according to what is established in the word of God and in obedience, that is, to live according to His revealed will in order to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to please Him.
