¡The miracle of multiplication!

in #sc-v6 years ago

Greetings and Blessings - Welcome to my blog!

Texts for reflection:
Genesis 1: 27-2827 "And God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.
And God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. "

Luke 9:16 "And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and blessed them, and brake them, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people."

I want to introduce this reflection about an anecdote told by a man converted by God. It is said that this man was a drunkard who was converted by the Lord and one day after his conversion, someone mocked him saying: Do you think that water becomes wine? and the quick and pointed response of that man who had been an alcoholic was: "I do not know what to tell you, but what I do know is that in my home Christ made the wine become bread." What a wonderful thing God does with the humanity!

God is the God of miracles and the first miracle we have received from God is salvation, we have received him by his grace and mercy. However this milgro is not only for a certain group of people, no, this miracle is for everyone and must be received by many but it is obvious that humanity has rejected this miracle.
It is from there that Jesus through the miracle of salvation also operates in the miracle of multiplication, hoping that it will be manifested in the life of each believer.

¡We are a miracle of God!

In that order of ideas, I conceptualize the context of multiplication.
Multiplying means increasing in number by reproduction, when something multiplies it is reproduced.
It is important to note that when Jesus began his public ministry on earth, He chose several men to be His first disciples. We can read it in the book of Mark 1:17 "And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men."
If you realize and deepen about this call you can realize that the Lord the first order that gives these men is a call to spiritual multiplication, he says - "if you follow me I will make you fishers of men"

The intention here is that Jesus calls these men so that they can multiply through winning souls for God...

It is also important to highlight in this reflection that Jesus in his last message to his followers was a call to spiritual reproduction and is indicated in the book of Acts chapter 1: 8,9
"But you will receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
And having said these things, seeing them, he was lifted up, and a cloud received him from his eyes
".
This is so that the importance that the Lord gives to spiritual multiplication can be understood.

Through this fact we could ask ourselves how this small group of disciples could multiply to reach the whole world? Jesus himself revealed the specific methods so that the order for spiritual multiplication could be fulfilled. The first and most revealing is the one that gave in facts 8: 1 about the order of the commission.

We have been called to multiply in every sense: spiritually and physically. The first order given by God to Adam and Eve was: created to multiply physically and spiritually and today the order of God is the same we must multiply but above all in the great commission to win people for Christ bringing the gospel of salvation to every creature.

Amen that is our mission @ricci01. DTB.

Certainly we are a miracle of God, and the desire of God is that we could give what we have received from his grace to others, through the great commission Preach the gospel to every creature. DTB @ricci01

Fabulous teaching @ ricci01 about multiplication. Blessings

Hi, I like your post. Follow the multiplication of the product of the salvation of the great commission that continues to preach in the present days. Congratulations

I find your post valuable and uplifting. Blessings

Blessings @ ricci01. Multiplication is the delight of God's miracles. From the beginning of creation, God has been insisting on the multiplication of the animal and human kingdom with the greatest emphasis on salvation.

From the beginning of creation, the term multiplication that God has been driving to reach the great harvest of souls for Christ. Blessings

Thanks for sharing your great post

Multiplication is God's method for transmitting the glory of his miracles. Blessings

Beautiful testimony of the converted drunkard. God made wine into bread for his family. God always surprises us with his miraculous things. It seems simple to say: when you look at the stars, you remember that he told Abraham that he would multiply his descendants. What a thing of life. Will God Abraham have fulfilled it? God and his family, with two fish and five loaves, ate a crowd and left. I congratulate you @ ricci01
