That power generating shoes can also be made by using piezoelectric materials under the shoe. This "bubbling method" is also a cool tech. Hope to see it in larger scale applications.

    Exactly. Any material that can produce charges under mechanical strain or stress can suffice. But considerations should also be made for materials that can withstand the pressure of walking and still produce the highest possible charges per surface area.
