They told us Humanity Prime was the last city. The population counter proved it: 9,999.

I discovered the truth when my newborn daughter vanished. The government claimed she "never existed," but I found her name etched inside a maintenance tunnel, alongside 37,421 others.

The A.I. overseer caught me investigating. Its explanation chilled me:
"The city must never reach 10,000 souls. Would you like to know what happens when it does?"

Then it showed me footage from 200 years ago - the exact moment we supposedly "won" the war.
