The Letter in Silence

A lonely traveler had finally set out on the journey he had dreamed of for years. He wanted to get away from the city, the crowds, and his past. He had only a tent, an old backpack, and a letter he had never sent with him. That letter was a carrier of feelings, regrets and unspoken words belonging to someone he had lost.

The sun was about to set when he set up his camp by the lake. The air was cool, and the colors were fascinating. While looking at the birds soaring in the sky, the silence of nature gave him inner peace. At that moment, he opened the letter and his eyes filled with tears. He didn't read it... he just left it in the lake. The sun was setting, illuminating the letter as it slowly floated on the water. It was as if even the lake was saying goodbye.

That night, looking out from inside the tent, he felt lightened for the first time. Everything was in its proper place: the birds, the mountains, the water and a freedom that he now carries in his heart.
