I am also sharing with you my upcoming project for this contest.

What has been my best project? (still working on it)

First of all, I am happy to tell you that I am currently successfully selling readymade garments and surgical items online. And to expand my business, I also want to add new work of showpieces to my business. In my country, many small and big manufacturers of handmade and small range showpieces are making products at affordable prices, which get good prices from customers and in the international market their prices are up to 5 times higher.

Project Report: Selling Showpieces

Project Title: “Select Showpieces for Every Beautiful Home and Workplace”

  1. Project Summary

My new project “Selling Showpieces” is a proposed business project that focuses on retailing a wide range of showpieces that cater to various home aesthetic preferences. The aim of this project is to provide customers with unique and high-quality decorative items that enhance homes and office environments. My report details the objective, market analysis, operational plan, marketing strategy, and financial projections.

  1. Market Analysis:

I know that the market for home decor, including showpieces, is currently strong and growing. Consumers are increasingly investing in adding beauty to personal living spaces. These include homeowners, renters, interior design enthusiasts, and gift givers. These are readily available in home decor stores, online retailers, and craft marketplaces, which is our competition. Our uniqueness therefore lies in a carefully chosen selection and competitive minimum pricing. Our trends indicate a demand for handmade, unique showpieces.

  1. Product and Sourcing:

Our product range will include a variety of showpieces, including:

Artistic sculptures, abstract figures, busts, vases and pots, floral arrangements, bowls, trays, candle holders, decorative boxes, wall hangings, small decorative plaques, festive, seasonal, cultural events.

Sourcing will include direct purchases from wholesale suppliers and possibly sourcing unique products from various artistic local markets. The emphasis will be on high-quality craftsmanship and diverse styles.

  1. Operational Plan:

Sales will be primarily done through an e-commerce platform, with outreach using social media. This will reduce overheads and increase reach. Product safety and aesthetic presentation will be prioritized in packaging. Inventory management will be important to ensure availability of popular items.

  1. Sales Strategy:

My sales strategy will primarily focus on attractive advertisements, and high-quality photography and engaging content showcasing the showpieces on various platforms will be important. We will mostly be using social media platforms for our advertisements, which will help us attract our customers.

  1. Financial Projections:

Initial Investment This will include initial inventory, marketing materials, packaging and dispatch. Pricing will be done to ensure good profit margins while remaining competitive. Sales forecast will be very low initially, growth is expected through effective marketing and repeat customers. The project aims to achieve profitability within the first 6-9 months. Gradually, detailed financial projections will be made by breaking down specific costs and expenses.

After one year in starting , I expect to make a profit of around Rs 300000 [approximately $3500] [or 25000 Steem] per year from this project. And it has to keep growing.
