RE: Visibility...

I have to disagree on you, @toofasteddie. I don't see Steem as a worthly platform where people should deploy their apps. However, I see Steem as a platform to develop for, as long as dapps being deployed take the post rewarding feature as the main income target, both for the developers and for dapp's users.

This is in contrast on Steem Monsters and Drugwars, were they are only using Steem as a way to market the app via post publishing, mimicking the way it works with Facebook linked games. As it could be seen, although dapps which are providing more activity on the Steem blockchain are Steem Monsters and Drugwars, it has not been reflected into Steem/USD or Steem/BTC price.

Both apps have not provided any new value to the Steem blockchain user and in fact it has been politing Steemian feeds since their inception while not adding anything at all -their posts are just an image linked to an external webpage asking users to create an account-.

Steem Monsters and Drugwars aren't dependant on the Steem blockchain. They could leave and start running on EOS, NEM or Lisk or ARK, without having to change too much their source code or their infra-structure. Most Steem dapps are written in JavaScript, which is the language Lisk apps are written, as far as I could remember -sorry if I am mistaken on this, please correct me if I am wrong-.

So I am still thinking that Steem should be a target for apps like DTube, DSound, DPolls or even DLike, which main feature is creating content which is published into the Steem blockchain in order for their users to get more rewards or be rewarded because of having created content in a more innovative way.

Of course Steem blockchain is very -extremely, I would say- attractive. Mainly because of the block generation rate and amount of transactions on each block and, my favourite one, no fees for content publishing. But let's no forget Steem is a content publishing platform. DApps creators could still use the custom_json feature, which allows them to create transactions without visible content. NextColony doues that. But it doesn't add any value to the blockchain price neither to their users.

I don’t know exactly where you disagree...
My point is on visibility ie. marketing side of the Steem Blockchain.

My fault.

I disagree on this:

Besides EOS, I don't think there is a better blockchain than STEEM in order to develop DApps and that's why at the "State of the DApps website" the supremacy of STEEM is evident...
