Old stone with nice lines in architecture here, how deserted the area must have been 100 years ago to warrant the site used for quarantine facility.
Must have looked very grand when originally built, so good restoration is being done to bring old buildings back for all to enjoy.

Yes it has changed so much now I am sure when this was build that end of the island was pretty much empty, it sure looks grand for a hospital even back then
Old structures always have great character. It definitely looks more like an elaborate hotel to being used as a hospital.
