The Tired Servant

The Tired Servant always carried a rubber chicken that they would occasionally demolish. One might say this is an extraordinary thing to do, to my grandma, but not to the Servant, who considered it would be miraculous. Bizarrely, a rubber chicken would be the thing that was chosen.

The Tired Servant owned a painting of a melon to put on his head. It was an odd activity, to my dad, but not to the Servant, who had come to the conclusion that the idea was miraculous. Who would have thought, a painting of a melon is the thing to opt for.
