It’s Bonus DailyJam time! Seventies Sunday Bonus post! We each pick a CBGB’s band. I pick a punk band (Dead Boys) & Ashlee picks the Talking Heads who came up there along side the Ramones & Blondie. All tunes picked limited to 1977! Let’s go!
Ashlee picks the debut Talking Heads album 1977’s simply titled “Talking Heads: 77“. Picking the song New Feeling for DailyJam. Then it’s the classic song Psycho Killer for BonusJam!
Gene picks two songs off the only Dead Boys studio albums. The album is 1977’s Young, Loud and Snotty. First up for DailyJam it’s the song What Love Is. For Bonus Jam it’s the song High Tension Wire.

Iggy Pop influenced the above bands with his original band Iggy & The Stooges! Putting out music as early as 1969. Iggy’s solo record (produced by David Bowie) came out this same year (1977) so we thought we’d add two of his songs from that record! David Bowie even sings the “La La La’s” on the chorus for one of them (The Passenger)! The other song is Lust For Life! Both from 1977 album “Lust For Life! Check it out ⬇️
