I felt so happy on reaching my first dolphin on steemit, it was a prayer answered as I was working tirelessly to reach 5k Sp . When I got the Steem that will give me my 5k SP I didn't hesitate to initiate a power up to achieve my dolphin. It was a very happy moment that I didn't take my eyes off that post, when steemcurator01 supported me with dolphin vote I became more excited I shared the goodnews with my steemit friends

How long did it take you to catch your first dolphin, and what obstacles did you face in achieving it?

It wasn't easy but it took me one year to achieve my first dolphin. The obstacles then were low support . Growing very fast requires support from the big whale , as a newbie I was struggling on my own with little or no support on my post but I didn't give up. I was so sure of reaching my dolphin and I got it.

Share any anecdotes or experiences you had during the process of catching a dolphin.

My experience during that time was something I will share with anyone who wishes to hear. I was a novice who hardly visit other users post and engage rightly. I didn't know that engagement can connect me to people I was only focused on making post and waiting for support. Not until I started exploring to different communities I begin to realize that there's more to achieving my goal other than just posting. There was a time I got the best commenter of the week I received booming, curators vote and community trial these achievements boosted my confidence I sticked to it till today of course the story , experience has changed my growth is rapidly improving.

As a newuser on steemit try to learn from your mentor, explore and make friends with other users that you may find their blog interesting. Don't rely on your self knowledge and blog in isolation because there are lots of thing to learn on this platform.
