There's a charm to old bikes, but they can be temperamental and things like the brakes can be lacking. This one had been messed around with. I wonder what happened to it.
I love working on old bikes. It was a hobby for me for a bit. I'd find old fixer uppers and see what I could do with them. I forgot how much I loved doing that. When I got the Honda Shadow a couple years back, I remembered how much I enjoyed it. It's a great feeling when you bring an old bike back to life.
I expect the old ones are easier to work on. A friend rebuilds classic bikes, but I don't think he works on his modern Suzuki much.
