Absolutely. I did my internship but was a union carpenter while going to school. When I was offered $11 an hour by “The Water Club” to be a saucier I laughed. I was making over $26 an hour at the time with full benefits annuity and vacation. None of that in the kitchen back then. No Food Network in the early 90’s. I like to be creative at all times. I’ve had my share....😀
