Eid 2025 with Me || A Day of Joy, Traditions, and Festive Celebrations!

As-salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu (ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ)

So Eid is finally here!

The excitement had been building up for days and today as i woke up early in the morning the first thing i did was greet my family with a warm and cheerful Eid Mubarak, there’s something truly special about this day , the happiness, the togetherness, and of course, the Eidi the best part ! My dadi was the first to hand me some Eidi a sweet 500 rupee note which already had me feeling lucky, but then my mom surprised me with a solid 1,000 rupees and just when i thought it couldn’t get any better, my dad handed me a generous 3,000 rupees, that moment truly made my day and i felt like the richest person alive.

After collecting my Eidi it was time to get dressed, this Eid, i decided to embrace my feminine side and wore a beautiful yellow suit. The suit had delicate floral patterns, giving it a soft and elegant look.

I had applied mehndi on my hands the night before and by morning it had developed into a deep rich color. The scent of mehndi lingered as i admired my hands.

There’s a process to achieving that perfect mehndi color you have to let it dry completely before washing it off, and i had made sure to follow it.

Seeing the beautiful stain left behind added to the joy of my Eid preparations.

Once ready! my family and i headed out for a special Eid lunch, we decided to dine at Harmain Sharifain Restaurant, which is famous in our town for its karachi, this place is known for serving some of the best most flavorful karahi dishes, and we were eager to indulge.

Our family didn’t hold back we ordered all three of their karahi varieties,the moment they arrived the aroma was mouthwatering, and each dish looked absolutely delicious, the first bite confirmed that this meal was going to be a memorable one.

The karahi lived up to its reputation, every bite was packed with rich savory flavors, all three varieties deserved a solid 9/10 rating. But the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the cheesy karahi.

It was beyond epic the kind of dish that makes you pause and savor every bite.

The cheese melted perfectly into the spicy tomato based gravy, creating an unforgettable combination of flavors. Without a doubt, the cheesy karahi earned a full 10/10 from me. Our lunch was filled with laughter, conversations, and the pure joy of sharing a meal with loved ones.

After returning home, i fully embraced the Eid spirit, dressed as a girl in my beautiful yellow outfit i couldn’t resist taking countless pictures, every angle every pose i wanted to capture the joy and beauty of the day.

The excitement was real but in all my enthusiasm, i ended up messing up my kurti a little hEHE! I

It was bound to happen with all the movement but it just added to the fun memories of the day, It felt good to express myself so freely and enjoy the moment to the fullest.

As the evening approached, it was time for a cozy family tea session, my mom had prepared a delicious batch of sheer khurma, the traditional Eid dessert that brings an instant feeling of warmth and festivity, we gathered together enjoying every spoonful of the sweet creamy delight while sipping on hot tea.

There’s something incredibly comforting about these small yet meaningful moments – just sitting with family, sharing stories, and appreciating the bonds we have.

Eid is always special, but this one felt even more so. From the generous Eidi to the amazing meal, from dressing up to capturing countless pictures, everything about today was perfect. The laughter the love the delicious food it all came together to create a day I’ll cherish forever.
