Crater Lake rim drive

Morning or afternoon everyone….

I’d like to start off by saying if you have never been out here to Crater Lake, it without a doubt needs to be on your bucket list!!!!!

We have tickets for the boat ride tour tomorrow. So we are going back obviously again in the morning.

Driving the rim and stopping for pictures is an all day affair. But worth every minute for sure. We left our Airbnb at 7:00am. It took us just over an hour to get there. It is 70 miles from where we are staying.

I’m going to share a few photos from today. But honestly, pictures do not in any way do this any Justice at all. While they are nice photos, the size of the lake and the color of the water is not truly capturable. The water is a cobalt blue and is completely intense.

The elevation was as high as 7,600 feet at our location today. The views are breath taking and amazing.
