To Celebrate Her Wonderful Singing Career, She Released an Album At Age 100

Of course, I,m referring to Dame Vera Lynn, who turned 100 this year on March 20 , at the time she had this to say: ”It's truly humbling that people still enjoy these songs from so many years ago, reliving the emotions of that time." She remarked, how wonderfully nostalgic it was, for her to hear her digitally mastered songs again and sounding much better to her in a new way.  Vera Lynn was born."Vera Margaret Welch on March 20, 1917, and she has been has been in showbiz since the age of 7. At age eleven, She quit school to commence touring and  at that time, she had released her first solo record it was in 1936 and she was aged 19.
