RE: What Would You Do With 4 EXTRA Hours A Day? (Did you know the human body requires only 4-5hrs of sleep a night?)

in #sleep9 years ago

I've heard of the blood type diet but never really looked into it. I only require about 4-6 hours of sleep at most. Sometimes I only get those hours in broken sleep thanks to my dogs. I'm blood type B. Is there anything specific I need to stay away from?

Dr. Peter D'Adamo wrote the book: Eat Right for Your Type.
This link may shed some more light on the specific foods to eat and avoid depending on your blood type.

I would use it as a base guideline only. Generally, paying attention to how a food makes you feel about an hour after you eat it, let's you fine-tune and customize your eating lifestyle. If a food doesn't make me feel well, even if it's on my list of foods for my type, I avoid it. I am type A-. I'm suppose to be able to tolerate wheat and grains just fine and I cannot. So, I don't eat it because if I do, it quickly depletes my energy, and gives me abdominal cramping, bloating and gas. My body doesn't run well on it and is related to the mix of bacterial flora in my G/I tract and I suspect the chemicals used to force wheat to produce more yield, just before it's harvested. I hope this helps you. :)

look at any blood type diet you want, glyphosate is not listed as avoid. it is good that you pay attention and don't dogmatically adhere to a diet that harms you. i wish everyone payed attention as closely as you. thank you. proper balance of intestinal flora is critical to even be able to begin using type diets. i have similar wheat issues, nightshades are even worse for me. grass fed ghee and a few other things have restored my gut balance. there are also mold toxins associated with the presence of glyphosate. this only adds to the complex possibilities. be careful out there.

Look to your parents blood types. I'm pretty sure one of them is avoid for wheat. Your pH makes a big difference as well. My wife is B and unable to eat potatoes unless her pH is high. Her father is 0 and potatoes are avoid for him. Crazy stuff. :)

One of the biggest problems people have is they're not aware of what 'feeling good' is like. :) I recommend people stick to neutral and beneficial foods for a month, once the system is much cleaner, the effects of avoid foods are much greater, difficult to miss. :)
Here's the updated list from D'Adamo

Sounds like you're eating close to your blood type already. :) Check what you're eating against the list, might only have to cut out a food or two. :)

Chicken is pretty much lethal for the B blood type. It causes weight gain, blurred vision, headaches, lethargy and more.
