The second half of the year is passing by at full speed, and soon, without us even realizing it, we will arrive in December, the month in which the Capac-raymi ceremony is held, a festival that seeks to renew the bond between the Incas and the Sun through dances, offerings, and prayers.

The main dance form of this legacy, the Inti Raymi, fortunately has survived through the centuries. It is a symbol of gratitude and worship to the god Inti, the deity who represents the Sun God in the Inca worldview.

With these portraits, I wish to share with you a small tribute to this tradition, this culture, and its generations as a symbol of all the cultures of our world that need to be preserved.
