Granthi is the term for blockages in the nadis (some also know this under the names meridians or energy channels).
The word "Granthi" originally comes from the ancient Indian Sanskrit and means knot, joint, swelling or hardening, it can also be translated as bondage, chain or doubt.
Brahma Granthi, Vishnu Granthi, Rudra Granthi
These are the three main knots in the human body and together they form a kind of Trinity, which is called Trimurti in Sanskrit.
The individual Granthis are named after the 3 main gods of Indian mythology:
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

The first of the Granthi knots is located at the level of the root chakra, more precisely between the Muladhara chakra and the Svadhistana chakra.
This knot or block prevents the subtle vibrations and energies from working harmoniously in us.
The deity Brahma is regarded in India as the creator god, the first aspect of Ishwara, to whom a lotus grew from the belly button....the origin of all being, the big bang, whatever...
The root chakra, Muladhara, represents and influences the individual creativity, the personal new creation and the personal growth of the individual soul.
Brahma Granthi influences the individual connection of each human being to the one and only source of creation.

Granthi number 2 is connected to the heart, which is slightly above the Anahata chakra.
It is called "Vishnu Granthi" and this blockage prevents you from coming into contact with the subtle dimensions.

Rudra Granthi is the third of the knots and was named after Shiva, the destroyer.
The knot is above the Ajna chakra, the third eye (which was already assigned to the pineal gland in ancient Egypt).
The Hindu deity Shiva is said to be responsible for the destruction of the world. The whole being takes place in cycles, which is why at certain intervals it is time for creation to allow itself a break...
After Shiva has used his destroying power, the creation falls into a Beauty sleep and slumbers deep in the body of the god Brahma.

Rudra Granthi is coupled with the forehead chakra. When this Granthi is unblocked the energy flows and dives into dimensions of higher consciousness and to absolute awareness and to fully awakening.
A snake in the spine...? Excuse me????
The word Kundalini has become a popular word for many yoga practitioners due to the yoga boom... This word can also be freely translated as "life energy".
But if you like it exactly, "snake power" is the literal translation. The Sanskrit word "kundala" means "rolled, wound", which was mostly used in connection with snakes.
The Kundalini power slumbers in the lower part of the spine and can wind up like a snake when awakened. The Granthi play an important role in this. Because with blockades, which are still present in the most of humans, the snake power cannot unfold.
The spinal column is called Sushumna from the subtle point of view and serves like a straw or a power line as a transporter of the snake power.
