It has been some time since the last time I wrote about what I consider to be the best CCG (Collectible Card Game) in the cryptosphere. The game has been running and growing for over 7 years with many competitors appearing and going down. Some of the game bit more than they can chew. Others got wrecked by the bear markets and most were not good games to begin with. What is even amazing is that Splinterlands is in a position to help many of the high profiles blockchain games that end up being failures for a variety of reasons.

Reaching Mainstream Coverage

Getting an article on Decrypt is not the same as being covered by a television news channel. Decrypt is only mainstream for the cryptosphere. What matters the most is that @splinterlands is shown in a strong light that is helping the wider blockchain gaming landscape. We will continue to see more coverage as more games get added to Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund. We already have 3 high profile games with millions of investments available. The players/investors of these games can get back some of their lost value by being a part of Splinterlands.

In case you are wondering about the future additions, there are 7 games being voted on be added to Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund. Although the voting has 5 days left to conclude, it is extremely likely that the Proposal will pass. I have voted for this Proposal along with 92% of the voting stake. The proposed allocations are as following:

• Up to 300,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Stella Fantasy. No wallet will receive more than 300 shares.

• Up to 150,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Embersword. No wallet will receive more than 150 shares.

• Up to 100,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Shatterline. No wallet will receive more than 100 shares.

• Up to 300,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Nyan Heroes. No wallet will receive more than 300 shares.

• Up to 200,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Deadrop. No wallet will receive more than 200 shares.

• Up to 100,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Synergy of Serra. No wallet will receive more than 100 shares.

• Up to 150,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Chains of War. No wallet will receive more than 150 shares.

Personal Performance

It will be some time before we see Survival Mode go live again. There are additional coding work that is necessary to make it happen and @splinterlands has a lot of things on its place and only a small development team since it had to let go off most of the staff during the bear market.

Wild performance was not as good as I wanted it to be. There have been many times where I made it to Champion III in recent times. At least I have managed to maintain a good Ranked Ratio and won more Battles than I lost.

I spend all the Glint on Rarity Draws. I have a Max Level Epic Set with many duplicates. For the previous few Seasons I have been emptying out the first Batch of Common + Rare Draws. The goal is to get these Cards to Max Level before we start seeing a new Set of Reward Cards. It would be great if I can get all the Legendary Cards into Max Level. It will require a delay in new Reward Cards release.

SPS Earnings

There is a high chance that $SPS will 15X from the current prices by the end of the year. This is not a 100% certainty; but the fundamentals are there for it. The demand for the new Card Set will play the main part IMHO.

I could be earning a lot more $SPS from Land if I had more DEC with me. Although I have the DEC, I do not want to lock it up in Praetoria when there are many Tokens such as $LEO going up in a rapid rate. DEC is soft pegged stablecoin and I don't want to own too much of it until I start taking profits.

All New Updates for Praetoria

@cryptomancer has been taking care of Land for a long time and he has done a very good job. There are new Cards in work that has specialized Land Abilities. There is very little known about them and there is no point in having too much speculation. We will get to know about them and we will have enough time to process them and make decisions regarding them. There are some interesting screenshots shared on Land Barons channel (accessible for those withe 50 or more Plots). These are in no way a finalized product.

Continuous Improvements is What We Have

The prices and player counts have fluctuated over the 7+ years we have been around. One thing that has remained consistent is the constant improvements made to the game. This is why I am optimistic for the future of the game. All the right moves are being made in a very budget friendly way. The conversions rate for Spellbook purchases have seen a tremendous improvement and @splinterlands is reaching out to many other gaming communities to onboard players. We will keep growing with new players during this Altseason!
