before the Panthers came along I followed the Redskins but the point that you made in this that resonates with me so much is that the actual Native Americans are not offended. It is white people who are being social justice warriors or just complainers that are making this an issue. I hope they don't change the name. It might actually result in an renewed interest in a forgotten team.
well if they do change their name the few fans that actually give a damn about the skins are likely not going to accept it and will continue to call them the skins. I'm sure we are just a few weeks away from the famous tomahawk chop of FSU being "banned" as well.
