RE: A Sad Life

in #sportstalk6 years ago

What a sad story! I know the team but only by name, I didn't know anything about Williams's life. It is sad indeed to end up in a wheelchair and now he has nothing to go home for.

I don't envy her daughter either, maybe she would like to do something else and she's forced to take over the team. Not good.

I think the daughter is happy to do it but there is added pressure knowing this is her fathers life and this is what brings him joy. They are nowhere near the team they used to be and should be higher up with such a rich pedigree in the history books. They have been running for over 40 years and there is something missing. I think it is the drivers as they can't buy the best and only take the ones who pay for their seats in sponsorship deals. To think I nearly went there as a career move with Rothmans.
