RE: Drew Brees Most Likely Sidelined For 6 To 8 Weeks
I hate to hear this for Brees. I've missed quite a bit of the NFL action this season but was always a fan of Brees.

Well get to settin' that DVR!
I been a fan of Brees since his days in San Diego. When he took over for Doug Flutie the Chargers went 4-12. But the following year he took the Chargers to 12-4. At the time he was consistently throwing for over 300 yards per game and he had passes that went from point 'A' to point 'B' faster than I have ever seen. In addition his accuracy was PHENOMENAL. But... A.J. Smith (the Chargers G.M.) decided to trade him away anyways (because of Phillip Rivers and a shoulder injury that almost took away his career as a qb in the NFL).
Since then I vowed to follow Brees WHEREVER he went (or whichever team he decided to sign with). He almost went to the Dolphins but thankfully the Saints picked him up due to the persuasion of Sean Payton. I also have spent a TON of money on 'Direct T.V.'s NFL Sunday Ticket' just to watch Brees perform every Sunday. It has proven to be money VERY well spent. He took the Saints to the NFC championship game in his first year as a Saint and then of course the Super Bowl a few years later.
I honestly wouldn't be as big a football fan as I am if it wasn't for Drew Brees.
Either way, I would like to present myself as unbiased when it comes to my articles here on Sports Talk Social... so let's just keep this a secret. lol.
