What an exciting adventure! I would love to share my experience in the California Channel Islands National Park with you.
My adventures began on the North Island, where I was going to explore the trails to take great photos, as usual, about four hours away from home, to this large reserve of different species of animals that live here, and where I woke up to the sound of birds singing.
which were quails with crests of feathers, the first time I had ever seen them in my life. When I opened my eyes, I found myself surrounded by a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean in front of me. After a delicious snack, I headed into the mangrove forest in search of wildlife sightings, and these little animals were what I found for you on this occasion.
Suddenly, I heard a strange sound and looked down to see a group of quails scurrying across the ground and flying among the branches of the trees and grasses on the land. Soft and fast, as if they were dancing, their presence was a spectacle for my eyes, which allowed me to slowly approach them to photograph them, and this was my result.
I continued on my way and, little by little, I approached a lagoon where there was another passenger, this time a diurnal owl. I have already explained in previous posts that they are diurnal and not nocturnal. It was taking a bath on the shore. Its golden fur shone in the sun and its gaze was calm, as if it knew it was being watched, which allowed me to take several photos again to publish here.
After an hour of observation, I took a break on the island's beach to enjoy the sun and the cool breeze. With these landscapes, I can show you some of this fascinating world. Some wild rabbits began to appear, and although they quickly ran away, I was able to capture their wild essence in my mind.
They were in the distant lands within the grassy vegetation. Back on the island, I had the opportunity to climb one of the hills to get an overview of the landscape. It was a spectacular sunset, as I couldn't see the sunrise, but the views here are uniquely breathtaking.
The beauty of the California Channel Islands National Park took my breath away. It really did, because I had never seen such a magnificent place, so unique in its style, with sand dunes, marshes, the sea, mountains, and hills.
The variety of wildlife and natural surroundings are a delight for the senses. This is just the beginning, as I have much more material here on other species of wildlife in the area. I would like to return to this sacred island and enjoy more adventures. You can be sure that the adventures will continue here, with much more content that I am sure you will enjoy.
