As you enter the garden you see this conventional Chinese gate. This garden is a famous place in this city where people come to sit and enjoy sculptures crafted by original Chinese stone masonry. In fact they crafted them here especially for this garden.
This Chinese garden has everything on offer where you can sit for hours and watch the beauty and its serenity.
You can enjoy the delightful views of Lake Burley Griffin sitting right here in the garden or can walk to lake and talk with ducks.
The Canberra's central landmarks, Lake Burley Griffin is visible from here too.

These symbolize Chinese months as they celebrate them according to these animals.
So, if you care to walk and watch the sculptures you will be see different types of birds and other animals famous in Chinese culture.
