Perisher Valley Ski Resort

Think of snow in Australia then Perisher comes to mind which is the only alpine resort in Australia. The added attraction is that this hill resort is close Kosciuszko National Park. This resort is located in Snowy Mountains NSW, Australia.

Perisher Ski Resort is the only natural ski resort in Australia. If you visit this area during winter, you would feel like:

All these four resorts get interconnected by ski and snowboard trails to form Perisher Resort.

You will find:

44 lifts
100s of trails
Also a large area covering more than 3,000 acres for skiing and snowboarding.

I could see there first-time skier and also expert snowboarder refining their skills with the help of their experienced instructors.

June and July the top of winters in Australia therefore it's hard to get a place unless you have an advance booking in one of the four resort areas:

This year we received unexpected guests so we visited the place without booking and unfortunately we had left our winter clothes in Sydney last year so we hired another set of clothes .

Last fortnight on July the 5th we were at Perisher Ski Resort. This place is supposed to offer an unlimited fun of skinning, skateboarding and lifts.

Falls Creek and Hotham throughout the season.

Not only this but one can also visit Whistler Blackcomb, Canada, Hakuba and Rusutsu, Japan, Vail and Park City, U.S and more. The place is full well in advance so I suggest make an advance booking to avoid disappointment.

I am an Indian coming from the Himalayan region of my country so I have seen snow and skiing but yet find this place wonderful.

I am sure the Australians and people coming from other countries find this place what they expected at Smiggin Holes for its slopes or at Blue Cow the wonderful views. If you have time go to Kamikaze and Rock Garden to watch the most amusing scenic views.
