As Uyo's resident, I am always so excited to see new businesses emerge in my city, most especially those ones that cater to our daily needs.

Two days ago which was 30th June, 2025, my neighbourhood welcomed a brand-new or what others called a "refurbished" fuel station named EDUMOH NIG LTD, and I'm excited to share my thoughts or review per se about it. Just to clarify things, there was a fuel station on that same spot some years back with limited services, but it was no longer active.

Infact, so many people didn't even know that there was a station there station. The old station was demolished entirely early part of this year and now, a new building has been erected.

Rumour has it that it's owned by a different person, but they maintained the same name. Perhaps, this could be the reason others called it a "refurbished" fuel station. But person like me and others who love beautiful things call it a new fuel station. and so, for the sake of this post, i'll be using a new fuel station.

And one more thing, before I go into the few details I'm about to share - let me also state that being a green energy advocate as most of you know me to be doesn't mean I'm entirely detached from the conventional fuel world 😃..., at least for this sake.

In fact, my daily commute is 100% relied on a petrol-operated vehicle, which makes fuel stations like this new one an essential part of my city's infrastructure.

The new fuel station, located just a stone throw away from my Solar shop, is a welcome addition to my community.

This new fuel station comes with some great sleek design and modern facilities. It is a great place for motorists to refuel their vehicles.

I had the opportunity to visit the station two days ago in the morning , and I was impressed by the warm welcome I received from their fuel attendant even though I wasn't there to buy anything. I was just there to view it's beautiful environe and facilities.

In my opinion, they were friendly, courteous, and eager to show off their new facility. They are well-trained, ensuring a smooth experience for patrons. I believe the owner meant business by employing such well-mannered people.

To celebrate their grand opening yesterday even though it wasn't a big ceremony per se, the fuel station offered a fantastic promotion that drew in a long queue of vehicles. It is a clever marketing strategy and I'm very sure it will pay off in the long run

For a short time - let's say...30 minutes, they gave away 1 litre free fuel to each of the motorists who visited the station during the morning hours. I think that was a brilliant move that will help to create a buzz around the city.

Are there great impressions?

Oh yes! There are. The fuel station is well-equipped to handle a high volume of customers.

👉Their fuel pumps are modern and efficient, and the payment system is user-friendly, you can either pay by cash, bank transfer or through your debit card. Their meter is good.

👉 Another interesting thing that caught my attention was the cleanliness and organization of the premises. They have CCTV for security and to monitor customers and staffs operation. I think this will play a great role in fair treatment.

I won't be wrong to say that the management is fully committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for their customers.

Aleast for starters, their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in the way they operate and this makes them stand out.

From their friendly staff to the efficient systems, everything seems designed to make the refueling experience as seamless as possible.

👉 This is NOT just your regular petrol refill station - there is also a mini mart built within that same spot where frozen food, beverages, groceries, toiletries, cosmetics and stationery etc. would be sold. I used the word would because that mini mart will be opened in the next two weeks when items are fully stocked.

👉 Other fuel like diesel and gas are also available.

As at today, their petrol price is nine hundred and fifty five naira (₦955) which is approximately 4.89 STEEM.

The station is located at No.163 Nwaniba Road -
Uyo, Akwa Ibom state - Nigeria. This spot is in-between water fountain and Steem solar & electricals shop.

The location is convenient and that makes it an ideal spot for motorists who frequent this part of the city.
