THE DAIRY GAME: A Letter to My Future Daughter -In-Law [05/09/2025]
Hello everyone! I want to tell you guys how my day went today.
Today, I taught my aunt's son how to cook sweet potato porridge. Initially, when I informed him that he will be making lunch since it's public holiday and he's at home,he refused saying he wasn't going to cook anything. After much talk, he finally agreed.
He started by peeling the potatoes which took him almost one hour to finish. Washing and cooking didn't take much time. But, it took him two hours to finish up. So I decided to write this letter to his future wife.
Dear future daughter-in-law,
I hope you're doing great wherever you are. If you happen on this letter, read in-between the lines and know that I am doing my best to give you the best of them all.
Your future husband knows how to cook. He just made a pot of tasty sweet potato porridge and I couldn't help but praise his ingenuity and culinary sagacity. It took him almost one hour to peel the potatoes. He now understands that cooking no be small thing...
He does his chores, cleans, washes and spices up the day with uncommon jokes. He is my personal comedian. He's still learning how to make other meals, but don't worry, he'll be on top of the game before you enter into the picture.
The other day, he made pasta without salt, but the mom said "munwa bu Ozioma will not partake in the dish, even though it looked palatable. My taste buds are on another level". That was how we both ate and finished it cause in our house, food wastage is prohibited.
Just to let you know sha... I hope you're getting your own training. I no fit shout o..
Kemesia...
