Greetings Steemit friends

Having a challenging day does not mean life has stopped. It just means you are having a challenging day. Everything may seem like it’s not moving, but I beg to tell you. You are the one who has stopped, not life.

Just like a day is made up of 24 hours, a week has seven days, and so on, time keeps moving. If you stand still at one spot, the night will still come, and the next morning will still show up. So, as long as you are alive, struggling and fighting for the next moment should be your goal.

This thought came to mind after I saw a man, clearly not mentally stable, having a moment of calm in front of the office. He did not seem worried about life. But in most cases, people in that state didn’t start off like that, they got to a point where they felt like giving up. Life has only one final bus stop, which is death. As long as you are still alive, let nothing hold you down.

Succeeding in life is complicated. But one thing I have come to confirm is that determination makes the difference. If you want to succeed, you must be determined. There is no such thing as pure luck, it’s about recognizing and grabbing the chances when they appear.

You will see some people succeeding at something within a short time, while others take longer. That’s one of the unpredictable things about life, and it's why you can not afford to give up. You never know when your breakthrough moment will show up, so always be ready to grab the opportunity when it does. Let death be your only stopping point.

Today is another day, and I decided not to stay home but to go out and face whatever challenges the day might bring. I got out of bed and prepared myself for work. The truth is, I had no plans of going to the office until a friend called. He needed help with his laptop. In everyone’s life, there’s always that one friend it’s hard to say “no” to. Truth be told, if it were someone else, I would probably ask for payment or even say no outright. But I got ready and had a bit of breakfast, which, to be honest, is a habit I’m still trying to develop, and headed out.

Because I was reluctant, I got to the office late. An hour later, my friend arrived with his laptop. He handed it over, and we had a bit of a discussion. Thankfully, the issue was not serious. Just some software issue. I handled it while we chatted. Software problems are not usually difficult for me to debug and fix. If it had been hardware-related, I would not even go near it.

Around midday, I turned to look through the window and noticed a man lying on the grass with a bottle of beer. The sun was hot, and this was private premises, not open to the public. At first, I was scared until I saw him move his leg and realized he was alive.

I took some time watching how he slowly slipped his beer, and I began to wonder. Where is he from? Where did he get that beer? Why did he choose this place to relax?

I called the attention of one of my colleagues, and together we agreed on the need to put up a small barrier just to limit public access and avoid such situations in the future.

It was close to the end of the day, and since I was done with what brought me to the office, I decided to head home. The sky was getting dark, and I did not want to be delayed by rain, so I packed up and left.

Once home, I relaxed for a bit on the grass lawn in the yard. I used my phone to take some close-range pictures, and I must say, I enjoyed the moment. It was peaceful and gave me some time to rest.

Later in the evening, I had dinner and spent some time watching the FIFA Club World Cup match Inter vs Urawa Red. While Inter controlled the game from the start, it was Urawa Red who scored the first goal. That instantly got me interested in the match.

Games like this always have a different kind of intensity. Usually, the team that dominates ball possession ends up scoring. That trend continued in the second half. But again, defending deep for long stretches is never a good strategy in football. And when you add multiple shots on target from the opponent, it just makes things worse.

As I expected, Inter eventually broke through the defense in the last minutes of the game, scoring two goals. While I was fine with that result, I would still blame the Urawa Reds coach for the poor strategy after scoring first. Sure, some coaches have succeeded with that approach, but you can not try it against a team that's stronger in every department.

The match ended. I carried myself straight to bed and brought the day to a close.
