The Diary Game Season 3 [ Sunday April 13th, 2025 ]

What another day, when I have shared the activities of the day? Days like this are those days when I find myself away from any task. It is that day of the week when I have to relax and have fun. Most of the time, it is that day when I will not touch my laptop until the end of the day.

Today most people are going to church. It is what Christians will call Palm Sunday. I noticed a number of people going to church today with palm leaves. It is a biblical demonstration where Jesus entered Jerusalem and the people placed a palm and he walked on it. Some of these stories don't make a lot of sense to me, because they don't add up. Religion is about believing and not a place for questions.

While others were preparing to celebrate the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, I was preparing to go for my Sunday morning sports. It is a tradition for me and my colleagues, as we have Sunday to get into other activities other than work. Before stepping out, I did some house chores.

I join my colleagues and we put the training kits together before going to the field. I got to the field early and had some discussion before dressing up. The topic of the discussion was Arsenal's offer to Real Madrid during the week. Most of them were Real Madrid fans against the two of us Arsenal fans. Given that last week, they made a lot of noise on how Real Madrid will humble Arsenal. We, the Arsenal Fans, did not have a voice. They call Real Madrid the god-chosen team. After the discussion, we all dressed up for warm-up exercises.

I started by going around the playing field three times before joining the rest at the corner for warm-up. We are trying to have joint exercises that can incorporate non-footballers, especially ladies. After the warm-up, we play our usual match. Today I had to play two positions starting from left back. During the second half, I moved to the midfield and more of a defensive midfielder.

It was a tough match, which ended with four goals on both sides. After the match, we usually discuss picking mistakes and proposing better options. At the same time, those who play faults and have a yellow or red card on their name. It is time to pay with a bottle of beer. One bottle for a yellow card and two bottles for a red card. Today the body was awarded a red card.

From the field, I rushed back home, took my bath, and was ready to watch the Real Madrid La Liga match. I want to see the performance and plan they have against Arsenal on Wednesday. It was not a good match for Real Madrid as their attacker had a red card during the first half of the game. The match ended with Real Madrid taking the day and winning by one goal to zero. Both have had red cards at the end of the game.

The last game for me was the match at Goodison Park. Newcastel welcomes Manchester United, and my bet for Newcastel is to win the game. I was rooting for Newcastle and Chelsea to win so that Manchester City would not be able to qualify for the Champions League next season. But Chelsea disappointed me by having a draw earlier in the day against Ipswich.

Newcastle won the game, scoring more goals than I expected. As soon as the match was over, I had my dinner. I ended the day watching other matches, but not with a lot of interest. I finally logged on to steemit and dropped this post.
