The Diary Game: Waking Up Extremely Happy To A Huge Alert {19-09-2025}

Hello friends, I woke up happy today because when I woke up and checked my phone, I saw an alert from my brother that is in Sweden, I was so happy. So, now I could get myself those things I had listed out and here I am just happy because God has answered my prayer.

After rejoicing, I called him on whatsapp and we talked while I appreciated him for the kind gesture. Normally, that kind of money would take me over one year to hustle but on seeing that, I know the rest of the month has been settled.

While I was happy, I took the cassava mommy brought back from village and began to peel them then after peeling, I washed them and then cut into pieces before cooking it. We call it 'Edita iwa' . We do use it to eat either coconut, pear or groundnut. You will enjoy the taste of it after cold water is added to it and it stays for 5 hours straight. This is the kind of food my grandpa used to give me that time I stayed with him.

When I finished cooking the edita iwa, I put it and then filter out the hot water and sliced them into another tiny pieces vertically. It took me a whole lot of time but I just wanted to do it and besides did I care? Of course I did not because I received a heavy alert today.

Since it's not always advisable to eat the edita iwa immediately after cooking, I made beans with rice and ate for my breakfast/lunch because it was 1pm and I didn't eat or bath. So after eating, I took my bath and took water to the construction workers. They sent me on errand to buy them snacks while the other sent me to buy cigarette for him but I had to decline the cigarette errand because it's against my faith and since I don't take it, I can't also buy it for anyone.

While I was still with the workers that afternoon, I was bored of their men talk so I took a walk to the next street where they were demolishing buildings as the government wants to override public interest and I pray these people that have been displaced be compensated because it's not easy after getting used to an environment, then at some point, you just leave the area just like that.

When I came back to the house, I bought apple for myself and mommy. I bought 5, so I ate two and kept three for her so that when she comes back from the market, she will eat it. While at home, I went through some of my daddy's old journals and they are really interesting honestly. Maybe these days, I will be spending much time reading things like these because no knowledge is a waste.

While I was reading the journal, I heard a loud honk at the gate so I rushed out because I know that was daddy's honk. Then I opened the gate and he came back with mommy, this my parents love is still very strong and I want to have such man in my life like my daddy. When they came back, I served them dinner and gave mommy apple because daddy does not eat it, I don't know his reasons before I joined their devotion and went to bed.
