The Diary Game: My Root My Pride,, The Ekpo Masquerade Celebration 14/08/2025

Good day to you all,it and day of experience and I have ro share with you this great experience.

I was in my shop that early morning,I work that morning and I tried to keep things together,so I have a call from my village and he told me to come with a camera, because of the culture and display of Ekpo Masquerade day,so they need a camera man to give them go photos , I accepted the and go out to the house and Carry my snapping camera, that was rhe first day of consulting the God's of the land, they take to their location where the Ekpo Masquerade is being taken from, that was in the morning,the traditional man that lead the team to the forest,we were walking a distance from home to the forest. We were also waiting for the traditional drummers to come.

In the afternoon the traditional drummers arrived at the place,the elderly men were doing the consultation with different types of drinks, calling their forefathers and puring the drink.
The drinks were to apeace the God's of the land as their traditions be.

I continued snapping them pictures and also the senior men that came around were dressed in Red and the Ekpo Masquerade was so beautiful.

In evening I was back from the work,it was a serious and difficult work to do,it was all about culture and traditions,so I go and bath, later find what to eat and relax for the day. That was how my day went,so stressful and finally it was a successful day
