CREATIVE WRITING | GOD'S INSTRUMENT
The prayer every person has already prayed is "Lord, use me" whether in the context of a pastor or a secular job or even charity. But how does God then achieve that goal of using you? Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Yes God uses men, but what disposition must you sustain inorder to be used? In my write up, I have briefly exhorted on how this can be achieved. I hope you are blessed as you read.
If God must truly use you as His instrument, then you must become like a keyboard or a piano, an instrument with both white keys and black keys. These represent the full range of your being: the bright, visible strengths and the darker, hidden weaknesses.
There will be moments when the Lord will play upon your strengths, those gifts and graces you're aware of. But there will also be moments when He will deliberately press on your weaknesses, using even your brokenness for His glory.
Yet, the wonder of an instrument is not in its ability to make sound by itself. A keyboard does not play on its own. A piano cannot compose its own melody. It takes the touch of the Master. The instrument only echoes, only resonates with the sound that the instrumentalist decides to play.
Follow me
So if you are truly an instrument in the hands of God, then your life must become a vessel through which His will is expressed. You carry potential sounds realities, revelations, graces, but they remain dormant until He chooses to summon them. The melody of your life is not yours to control. It is His composition.
Therefore, God should play you. God should worship through you. The same way an instrument releases a powerful sound through the touch of a skilled musician, God should release powerful sounds through your vessel. Because, in truth, you are the instrument.
Yield. Be still. Let the Master play His song through your life.
God bless you❤️
