Hello to you all precious saints, I trust you are all doing great! I have something here for you and I know it will richly bless you. This is the second part of what I began to write yesterday.
Some things you understand by books, most things you understand and appropriate by the altar😊
Ask yourself, how did the men have what we read in the bible?
The education at the altar has proven to be more effective than any other.
The duty of a priest is to perpetually sustain a learning capacity from the altar. Because the education of the altar doesn't come to feed the intellect necessarily but proceeds with such an energy to perform what it demands. A consecrated life is as a result of the education you sustain from priesthood.
You've heard and read about night prayer, you've tried it and it didn't work. Do you know why? It's because you learnt from a source which doesn't make provision for the energy needed for execution.
When you come to the altar, you must make sure that there's one thing that you've been taught.
The preacher and teacher can teach, which is their responsibility and you hear it but you're not being taught. Hearing doesn't mean you're taught Ohhh. Your notes can be full, yet the knowledge hasn't transcended into a reality in your spirit. You heard, yes! But when will you be taught?
When you're taught, you begin to live and act in a certain way consistent to the education you've received. Now look at what you've heard so far and tell me if you've been taught!🤔
The true vocation of a believer or a minister of the gospel is to be educated in Priesthood. Because the summary of everything that God wants to do is in priesthood. This is the foundation, if we miss this one, we miss all. Priesthood is where power and discernment are built, where your purpose is kept. You CANNOT know what God wants from and for you unless by Priesthood. There are several things you won't know about your life, or you think you know except by priesthood.
If you're cerebral, the tendency is that you'll not pray much but rather read.
Infact, you'll use the time of prayer to be reading.
While growing up I was very cerebral, I preferred reading and feeding my mind than anyother thing. That's one thing that made me begin to hate prayer by the way. But a day came I began to pray and this education came to me. And I noticed that the more I know the more I do. Instead of praying, I preferred to sit down and analyze how it works. So instead of praying, the cerebral person will prefer to study books so that he will know.
I'm about to land on what I said yesterday😂
When priesthood begins to teach you, what you read and it didn't open, begins to unveil itself.
Suddenly you read that scripture and for the first time you have read that scripture because it comes alive. There's power in priesthood bro!
When you begin to notice this, know that priesthood education has been activated. You cannot outsource priesthood. The proof, even Jesus when he finished His earthly ministry, He went back to priesthood🔥
It will therefore mean that Priesthood is an eternal work.
Hos.4.6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. (AMP)
I needed to put this this way to say this....
There's a colon : on that scripture which means the next statement is an explanation of the previous.
It's not very accurate to think that the knowledge talked about there is (buying many books and materials to read). This will only result to you having a big head and a small heart.
While reading that scripture, you notice that he is talking to priests, and I have established from the start that priests get education or knowledge from the altar.
So what Hosea was saying here was basically that, since you priests have refused to go back to your primary assignment (the altar) to get knowledge, I will reject you.
Because the worst thing that can happen to a man is that he has a big head and a small heart🤦🏾♂️
May your heart not be small in Jesus name!
True knowledge is not primarily by reading and feeding your mind!
It is by the altar (priesthood)🔥
You get the point?
Read books oh!
But after reading, crystallize it by prayer.
Don't be cerebral but be spiritual
