CREATIVE WRITING | THE INFLUENCE OF THOUGHTS

Hello to us all one more time, you know I've been doing a lot of reading and studying lately and I came to understand fee things which I'd like to share with us. It is about influence!

As a science student who studied physics in high school, I came to understand that induction is one of the many ways through which a body can be charged.
This process doesn't need the other body to necessarily touch it, but if it is close enough to the other one, the charges can be transferred. And that is exactly how influence is.

Influence is easy if you are in touch with any atmosphere. You will not know when you start adopting their value system.
You will not know when you start reducing your own consecration and your own belief, and start adjusting your own boundaries. Thinking that maybe, “I am overdoing this thing.”

Keep a righteous man in the midst of the ungodly for long, you will come and see that there is an impact darkness can have on such a man.
This is why we should have no fellowship with the works of unrighteousness.

You are a born-again Christian, you believe in the Lord,
But all your interactions, your associations, your friends are ungodly men. And you claim that you are there because you want to win them.

Don’t you know what soul winning is?
Soul winning is a “Go ye” enterprise. It means that is not your domain. You only went there because you wanted to win them.

How do you now live, and your friends, your inner circle, the people that shape your conviction, are unrighteous men?
You have not set any security to your soul. Your mind is porous.

You will realize very soon that your convictions are the same with the people that you are listening to.

Jesus said,
“You have heard of them of old, that thou shalt not commit adultery.
But a new commandment I bring unto you. Whosoever looketh at a woman lustfully in his mind has committed adultery with her already.”

This is how powerful the matter of the mind is. That you thought about it, it is your reaction already.

Do you know that Abraham killed Isaac in his mind? And because of that thing he did, God accepted that sacrifice already.
That was the proof: “There is nothing you cannot give Me.”

That is what that test was all about. But God was not going to have him do it physically and kill that boy. The moment Abraham lifted up the knife, that boy was already dead inside his mind.
Don't let your mind wander about like a roaming star or an accident looking for where to happen.

We fall first in our mind before our body executes the action. Here is the proof!

A thief will steal first from his thoughts.
In the night he was thinking,
“If I add one zero, just one zero to this proposal…”
He knows the things that will enter his mind. He has calculated, ran permutations and combinations on the different projects he can execute.

Then he comes physically.
You know what Satan does?
He plays the narrative in your mind first. When he sees that it has passed in your mind, then he creates the physical situation to help you execute the state of your mind.

That's why the scriptures willl emphasize that;
Guard your heart with all diligence,
For out of it are the issues of life.
Your thoughts influence your life.

Your heart is your garden of Eden! You have one assignment over it.
"To Guard and to Keep"

Prayer: Lord help me to Guard my heart with your word.
