As a mentee, there is something you can do to draw virtue from your mentor.
Even if that mentor always is casual beside you, there's a cheat code you can use and he will unveil the dimension you need.
The better doesn't bless the lesser because he is blessed.
There is something the lesser does inorder to be blessed of the better.

Heb.7.7 Yet it is beyond all contradiction that it is the lesser person who is blessed by the greater one. (AMP)

We wouldn't have known the Lord's prayer if the mentees (disciples) didn't ask their Mentor (Jesus) to teach them how to pray. You see how important it is to inquire.

Luke.11.1 - And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Imagine if they didn't ask😅 the "Our father who art in heaven" that we all know wouldn't have been known.
How do you go to the well without a bucket and expect to get water from the well?
How do you go to a river without a reservoir and expect to go back with water?
All you'll be able to achieve is that you saw the river flow.

There's an importunate mentality when you are beside someone who obviously has what you don't! If it is what he has that you want? Dig it out from him
Most times we do not value what we have not because it's not valuable, but because we didn't make an effort on have it.

My father in the lord always challenges me with this aspect of his life.
I've not seen a man as importunate as this man🥺 always asking questions massa.
Do you know that the whole born again concept, stemmed out of a man who asked questions?
Nicodemus even though he was a leader among Pharisees, when he saw someone who did what they couldn't do, he asked questions.
And as a result of the questions, we know that unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Then he didn't end there Jesus continued speaking about that reality.

Fear a man that has mastered the prayer of inquiry like David.

Ps.27.4 - One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Everytime a man sustains the disposition of inquiry, he automatically begins to make demand on the anointing or the grace the man carries. As a mentee or a disciple,make sure that you ask a lot of questions, if it is the blessing of the mentor you're looking for.
