The Diary Game: A Cool Moment With Masquerade/ Masquerade Display [14/10/2025]

Good day guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly. It was an amazing day and I am so eager to share it with my steemit friends.

Earlier today, I was outside receiving my fresh air when I heard sound of not just one bells but two bells coming from the other end of the street. I paused what I was doing and looked closer then I saw Ekpo, it's a masquerade that do go round every year end and make the community lively, more of a tradition here. Others were running but since I have been seeing these kind of masquerades even in my village, I stood my ground and asked him for a selfie.

People were kind of shock how I was able to do so. I know it's kind of strange that a stranger in this community as myself would be able to stand infront of a masquerade and then take selfie and won't get harm. I asked the masquerade to pose for me and he did then when he wanted to leave, I gave him the little money I was with before I left him to go make breakfast for myself.

When I finished eating my breakfast, I took my bath and went to the room then I went right up to my work table and began to work. You know how it is when you wake up with the zeal to just work and be so proud of yourself. At best, I will say that I have been doing perfectly well lately and it's because of consistency.

When I finished working in the afternoon, I turned off my laptop and went to my bed to sleep. When I slept and woke up, all the tiredness I felt had gone, so I went back again to work and this time, it was another turn to promote as much products as I could because, I was bent on finishing up before evening.

By 7pm, I was able to summarize the work, so I went to the kitchen and then I warmed the rice with beans at home and began to eat it for my dinner. My body was aching me so much and I was so tired. When I finished, I took my bath and then I went to my bed to rest.

As I got to my bed, I took some pain relief medication before I attended to my steemit students questions and it's a goodbye from my end. Till my next diary guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there, much love from me to you all.
