The Diary Game: Recovering From Sickness And Playing Street Football [13/08/2025]

Good day guys and welcome today's diary session with yours truly,I woke up with the right spirit, I was now very sound and healthy to start with, so when I stepped outside to go see how it was, I saw some kids playing street football, it's been ages I played ball, so I joined them and we played together. You wouldn't believe how I can dribble till you meet me on pitch.

When I got inside, I took some money with me then I went to go and get malaria and typhoid drugs for myself, I had to still take it again after the other dose had finished, because I felt hell while going through that sickness. I took it back home then I went to do other little chores before thinking of what to eat.

After I finished cleaning the house and washing the plates, I went to the kitchen and prepared white rice then rushed to the market to buy chicken so that I can prepare chicken pepper soup with it. I know you want to hype me that I can cook, yes I know I can cook and I am 100% a husband material, you can just see the evidence. After eating, I took the drugs I bought then I had my bath.

After bathing, I took my laptop and began to work, ehwo! Even when I wasn't totally strong, I still had to just pull it through and work, it's not easy being the only person that has been coming through for yourself. I promoted the products at home right on my bed, it's really a tasking job but thank God I am not doing for anyone so I could just pause at some point and rest.

After I finished the work, I went to my bathroom and showered then came out and had my nap, the nap lasted from 3pm to 4pm then I woke up, took the typhoid drugs and had small lunch before going out to stroll. It wasn't a long stroll but I needed it to stay for and wipe off boredom.

I strolled to the primary school near my house and watched the footballers play, it was really a nice site having seen faces I haven't seen for a while, they are about to start their inter village tournament and it has been one of the best tournament any local team has ever played. I watched them train and then by 6:45pm the final whistle was blown so I went back home to look for what to eat.

When I got back home, I had a package just at my door post, I was thinking what that could be, I had been hearing of bombs and all so I used a stick to check it only to see it was a pair of beautiful boots my friend bought for me, I was so happy that I was gifted these beautiful babies, Sunday I am definitely rocking it to church and hey it won't be for show off, because it's been long I haven't rocked a nice shoes.

I called her and appreciated her for that and then went to the kitchen to warm the food I made in the morning, I dished them out and began to eat, after eating, I took my drugs and then had my bath again before I stepped outside to stay and enjoy the evening breeze, it wasn't long when sleep came, I just had to succumbed to it then I went to bed and that was my day briefly.
