The Ultimate Search.( A home or A House)

Hello Beautiful POOKIES 😍, Trust y'all are doing great today? Today seems to be the longest day I've had this week!!!And to anyone who cares to know how I'm doing..., I'm very well thanks. It's still your girl @mercigold here on @steemit and here's why the whole of today seem to be very exhausting.

Earlier today started like it was never going to end, trust me I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I slept over at my aunt's house and I knew for sure that I was definitely going to wake up to massive house chores I haven't done in a long time. From cleaning the kids mess, to doing a large number of dishes and tidying up the entire rooms in the house. Do I even need an exercise after all this? This was more than enough exercise for my muscles.

My friend came over to the house after I was done with all the chores at home. We both contacted a House Agent because we needed a new apartment for ourselves. After getting to meet-up with the House Agent, He suggested we wait for him in a Mini Store, while he had to show another client a vacant space nearby. My friend and I waited for about an hour till he returned. So we headed out.

Getting a house here can be very demanding. Sometimes you get to see the type of house you want but might not be Budget friendly and sometimes you get to see a budget friendly one but might not be the type of house you want. So here we are at the first location where we had to inspect. The environment was obviously a typical example of a rural area. Everywhere was so underdeveloped. Several Incomplete building, wooden shops, collapsed buildings, old roofed houses and more.

We were showed a particular house in the area, so had to go into the compound to inspect the house, This compound was a mixture of self-contained house, flats and single rooms. The dissatisfaction on our faces says it all. It all started from the environment first. We opted to see other options available. The house Agent agreed and decided to take us to some other location.

Ironically, it's seems as though the later aren't no way better than the former. For goodness sake!! Where does this House Agent thinks he's taking us to?. This roads looks like one leading to a native shrine. If one doesn't get to react sometimes with these agents, they are ready to mislead you and convince you to accept A Pen for a house. I immediately called his attention and told him there wouldn't be any need for us to see this particular house because the topography of the environment isn't welcoming.

On our way back, the Agent suggested we check in one more house within of which he said we might like it when we get to see it. We got to the house but unfortunately the door was locked. We couldn't access the house at all and the caretaker who would have been in best position to open the door was not home. To me, Seeing is Believing so this can't be an option at all.

In no time we boarded a tricycle back to town where we looked out to see the last vacant house location for the Day, my friend and I were already exhausted but we had to make all these stress worth it by getting a place today. We paid off the tricycle driver and he zoomed off.

On our way to the supposed Location, The House Agent stopped by a laundry store to exchange pleasantries with a friend. He aswell took time out to contact another agent who knows basically all the vacant houses in this location. My friend and I waited, while he conversed. It seem as though the second agent is taking a longer time to show up so he advised we proceed to the location while he waits for the arrival of the second agent.

The moment my friend and I saw this, we knew this was exactly what we wanted. It was indeed very spacious. From the bedroom, to the bathroom, kitchen space and even the environment. The most interesting thing about this is that, it's not just what we wanted alone but was also budget friendly. We had to meet with the landlord and did the necessary payment procedure.

I'm glad today's stress was worth it after all. The house Agent got paid off his agent fee. The estimated amount for this pay is usually a 10% of the rent paid. House space gotten, deal sealed, now let's go home. Thank you so much guys for engaging. See you in my next post.
