The Diary Game: Dedication Service of my first daughter (1/6/2025)
Hello guys!
It's good to know you are doing good over there. I trust that it is well with you. I am doing well too here in the Southern part of Nigeria. Last Sunday was an exciting moment for me and my family. I took my first daughter, Delight to church for dedication. Stay tune, let me give details of how my sunday was.
It was a day my wife and I had planned. We had made preparations by inviting friends and colleagues as well as family members to join us celebrate our child.

Early in the morning of Sunday, we woke up by 4.30am to start preparation. We had bought some food stuff we intended preparing for the invited guests after church service. So I started sweeping while my wife was busy in the kitchen. After sweeping, I joined her to help put things in order before we leave to church. By 6am, we were through.
I could recall that after our first child, another child was not coming immediately. But God visited us not long after that.

After domestic work, I went to the bathroom, took bath. When I came out from the bathroom, my wife had put food on the table. I ate and then dressed up . She too dressed up with my first child ready for church. Unlike other days, I wanted walking together with her to church. By 7.20am, we had left home because we expected visitors to join us in the church as well. We arrived the church by 7.50am.
The invited guest minister, Min. Kufre Okon was the one in charge. He did a nice job. He gave my wife and I an opportunity to pray for the child before he dedicated her.

The dedication service was assisted by another guest minister, Min. Edidiong Ekim who was also in charge of offering for the baby. The event was attended by friends from my wife's work place as well as mine. We were very happy that God gave us another baby.

My morning activities were mostly in the church. The service didn't really take long. The service ended about 1pm when we had served the guests with just light refreshments.
I came back home by 2pm. In the afternoon, I was at home attending to our family members alone. We had to entertain them separately at home. They too were happy.
In the evening from 5pm, those who weren't able to attend the church service started calling. Some people came home to see the baby and donated gift items. We received a lot of gifts from our guests as appreciation. I stayed with family members till 7pm when everyone had finally gone home.
Before we could tidy up things, wash used plates and cutleries, it was 9pm. I was really exhausted. I took bath and then ate my supper before I relaxed with steemit . By 10pm, I went to bed and slept off.
That was how my Sunday was. It was really a memorable day replete with happiness. I won't forget in a hurry. I thank God
Thank you so much for visiting my blog as well as reading my post. Do have a nice moment
