The Diary Game:Shopping/ Recovering From Sickness And Cooking Nigerian Jollof Rice (19/09/2025)

I have been down in health for the past days now and I don't know if it's because of the weather condition over here. I was so cold when I woke up that I was unable to do anything. Normally, I don't take medication, I just exercise anytime I get sick and the rest will be history. Since I was cold this morning, I wore a light jersey and tied my sweat top round my neck and went to the mall to get margarine and other items I needed at home.

When I came back home from the mall, I took my bath and went to my room to stay. Little Jerry wanted to come over but I told him I was down and wouldn't play PS with him, I guess he was so sad when he heard that but then it wasn't my fault and honestly, I wish I was okay so we could play the game together.

After I became hungry, I was motivated to visit my kitchen so I could cook something delicious to eat. I could be sick for all I care but immediately it's time to eat, I don't joke with it. There was once I joked with mom and told her that on my dying bed, I would prefer a plate of my favorite meal before I finally die and she was just laughing, I guess my love for food is out of this world.

It was contemplating if I should eat spoon food or cook soup but I made soup yesterday and today and I still have the left over in my freezer, so I went on with the idea of rice. I measured in some cups of rice and prepared it. Here I was while preparing Nigerian Jollof. Oh, I just heard Hilda Bacci of Nigeria prepared the largest pot of Nigerian Jollof rice so I think I will make it to the record for the smallest pot of Nigerian Jollof.

Permit me to say this, there has been a debate between Nigeria and Ghana on whose Jollof rice is the tastiest, so for me, I think the tastiest jollof is prepared by someone and not linked to any country. It totally depends on the chef and people's taste buds. I just hope I am able to clear the air on this.

I served myself a plate of jollof and I was just so satisfied after eating it. At some point, it felt like the sickness disappeared because I couldn't feel it again. I had so much sweat all over me that I had to go and take my bath before napping.

When I woke up, I went to Little Jerry's house, we played our game together and I spent the evening with his family. His dad is a core forex trader and he was putting me through some things, I think I need to have this knowledge. He is a successful trader and learning from him won't be a bad idea.

When I came back from there, since we didn't have training today, I had to go to bed early, so I am just waking up now to write this diary so I can eat my jollof and go back to bed. It's a nice moment here friends.
