The Diary Game: Having A Nice Time With My Son (14/08/2025)

Hello everyone, have you had the chance to spend time with your family since this year/ month started? I think personally to me, it's one of the most refreshing thing as a parent, no matter how you think you have been busy during the day, spending quality time with your family is a noble act.

Previously, I told you all that my wife was very sick, so as she is recovering from her illness I decided to go out with my son. It has been long I went out with him. First, I had to make sure I attended to my customers before coming back home. I would be honest, nothing really came to mind, not even the kind of place to go, it was even my wife that suggested the location and my son said we should go, so we went there, I did not know my son can gist this much.

We went to one opened field called Love Garden, I know most people living here in Uyo can relate and know exactly where the place is. I was so happy I could even with how tight my schedule is go out with my son and spend time with him. I remember how miraculously this boy came to this earth, the tears that rolled my eyes that day when I heard how my wife had to undergo surgery for him to be born. Now, look how strong and energetic he is, I am now a proud father and if there is anything that makes me more proud was seeing him taking too of his class and I promised him to push him to any level academically he wishes to attend since I did not have the opportunity to have my education.

We strolled round the field for some time and then sat and had biscuit while I watched him go play with other kids that were there. I kept on reflecting on how life would have been without someone to call my own son. I remember when it took my wife a little while to take in and people were actually saying that I wasn't man enough, some how I used to feel bad not untill my bundle of joy came and every noice was shut and here I am having someone to call me daddy.

When we stayed till evening, my wife called me to come and settle the guys that brought the second batch of chicken feed so I had to hurriedly go back home with my son and when we reached, I asked them for the bill and I was given then I paid them off and then they went on their way. Running a poultry farm is hectic, capital intensive and time consuming, so if you are planning to do it, be sure to dedicate everything including your time to it.

We discussed with my wife about the kekenapep I bought and howfar the guy has gone with his payment before we went to the kitchen to help each other out with cooking of the food. My wife was now jealous that I took my son on a walk without her, we laughed off because how would she had come when she was very ill? I promised to take her out when she feels much better.

When the food was ready, we ate it, oh it's noodles and egg, have you tried it before? It's very nice. I like the egg boiled and not fried because I feel the boiled one is more nutritious than the fried one.

When I finished eating, I took my bath, bathed my son and boiled water for my wife to bath before I made the bed for her to sleep while I went out to the shop to check if there was anything I needed to do but obviously there was nothing so I came back home and had my final rest for the day.
